When I'm not painting with lovely smelly oils, I use a variety of oil pastels, graphite, inks and watercolours on paper to express another side of my art practice.

Recently I have been creating a series of naked self-portraits that follow my developing pregnancy. My appearance seemingly alters with every passing hour, so by continually studying my own image I hope to express these fleeting and myriad emotions on my journey towards motherhood, capturing the physical changes my body is going through as new life joins me.

Removing my clothes, I am both exposed and yet powerful - challenging the viewer to look beyond simple or sexual nudity - to see the gentle meaning behind each pose and share this personal journey.
